Crowdsourced Bedshitting: The Barry Bailey Saga

In an effort to make this team as diluted and average as possible, The Overland Park Deskshitters have, for the first time, begun consulting every fantasy football outlet I can find.

This week, the resources I used were ESPN, SBNation, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, and NFL.com. The overall consensus was that someone needs to own, Dwyer, Daryl Richardson, Alex Smith, and a couple people said Kevin Ogletree. Everyone also said you should get rid of Jamaal Charles, Chris Johnson, and Tom Brady.

Luckily, I didn't have to deal with dumping any of those people, but I had plenty of people that upset me enough to drop them. Actually, none of the players I have were in the drop lists, but I started compiling the lists before Pey-Pey's epic death march.

Nonetheless, I hate you, Tony Romo, so I dropped you for Alex Smith. I can't even remember the other people I dropped because I was so pissed, but I know they weren't cash cows in the past weeks.

The only other thing it told me was that I should trade for CJ Spiller immediately. Like, 3 sources told me I should do this. So if his owner is interested, your commish would be up for a trade.

This week's overzealous recommendation came from Ufford at SBNation, who told me to pick up this Ogletree character. I was like, hey, I like Ogle. I like trees. It seemed like the thing to do.

So that's what Crowdsourcing has led to this week. Next week, I add more sources and evaluate the shitting that has happened in the metaphorical bed, and we'll be back with a more regimented report.

Sounds like some good advice. Just make sure you are aware of the differences between a 6 man team and a 10 man team. Ogletree would be a great choice in a 10, likewise Danny Amendola but in our league not so much.

I think Cam has CJ Spiller...good luck with that.

I currently have CJSpillsK's and all of my crowdsourcing tells me that in no circumstance should I trade away CJ1millionK's even if there is a high volume of feces in my commish's sleeping quarters. The Ghost has spoken.

Spiller is getting all of Fred Jackson's carries since Jackson went down with injury.

Ogletree is the Laurent Robinson of last year for the cowboys. Everyone keeps their eyes on Austin and Dez and in the meantime, Ogletree is going to get a lot of balls thrown his way, especially if Witten remains subject to a torn spleen.

gotta remember to, that ESPN and such networks try to spend a lot of time talking about "value" players, and typically that means guy who are not regular starters. With only 6 teams, we shouldnt need 'value" players, we should all be boasting some pretty stacked rosters.

And Amendola is a great pick in PPR leagues, which we are not. 15 grabs last week is an additional 7 points in some leagues not accounting for the yardage. I picked him up in a PPR league I am in just for that reason. Also 12 teams so anyone catching more than 2 passes is considered a value lol.
